Newest employee of all!!

The above video is NOTour newest employee.....This is one of your coworker's dog.  I am sure you will not have to use your imagination to much to guess who this poor fellow belongs to.  I just feel bad for him having to stare at the wall while keeping in shape.

Even newer staff than yesterday!

I think she wants me to bring her coffee......

Miss Taj, Antonette, and some of Catherine.........

......the rest of Catherine and her new beautiful haircut.
Another day, another celebrity added to the Wolfpack's Team Roster.  Today, I would like to introduce a person that brings experience with Meditech and nursing, two things that should have never been brought together.  Meet Antonette Alfaro, coming to us from Good Samaritan Hospital with 2 years experience there for a total of 15 years experience as an RN.  Antonette enjoys swimming, not because she thought that the Bay Area was going to flood with all the rain we have had, but to train for the immense hallways we have here on MedTele.  Her other hobby is shopping.  (We are still in the process of looking for someone that likes to cook for large groups of people if you guys know anyone.)  Speaking of food, Antonette is not a picky eater, in fact she enjoys all types of food.  So, when you see Antonette on the unit, make sure you welcome her as one of the Pack, and complement her on what a good swimmer she is.

Some of you may have seen the question I put at the bottome of the page.  Answer it the best you can, there may be prizes involved........

New Pack Members!

So, they finally made it!  The people we hired 2 months ago are finally here.  I was begining to think that they were on a slow boat from China.  As a matter of fact, Jane is from China!
Without further ado, I would like to introduce Jane aka Xin (pronounced sin).  Jane comes to us from Bejing, a city known for its beautiful pagodas and, obviously, Peking duck.  Peking duck also happens to be Jane's favorite dish, which we will all be delighted to have Jane bring in for us to taste :)  We won't be expecting that anytime soon though, as Jane is the proud mother of 2 boys, one 3 years and another 7 months.  We may need to bring Jane some coffee!  Jane brings a wealth of knowledge to MedTele, 12 years in fact.  So the evening shift can look to her as a great resource for not only trivia of Chinese culture, but also nursing knowledge.
Next, we have Brett Millar, not Miller, but Millar.  Brett is a native of the Surf City that we call Santa Cruz.  As a matter of fact Brett's hobbies include surfing, mountain biking, and eating Mexican food.  Brett is clearly super motivated; after 5 short years of being an RN, this guy already has his CCRN.  Really impressive stuff.  I was thinking that Jane might need coffee, but Brett may need more coffee.  He has 4 children, from 8 years to 18 months!  Brett is going to be a huge addition to the pack!
Lastly, I would like to introduce Julieta, hailing to us from Guanajuato, Mexico which is nowhere close to the Bay Area.  Then at the ripe old age of 5, she decided it was time to take it to the Bay.  Since living in the Bay area, Julieta has concentrated on many things, including building a small zoo and inline skating.  It sounds like she is a one woman circus!  I am encouraging her to wear her inline skates here so she can keep up the riveting pace we set here on MedTele.  Clearly, Julieta's favorite food would be....sushi?  Julieta sees nursing school in her future and in the mean time will serve as the best evening shift monitor tech.

Okay, folks!  There are two other people I need to introduce, but I don't want to keep you glued to your screen any longer.  Untill next time....
